Monday, February 7th

A stronger volume day as we popped back over the $165 million mark, a 33% increase over yesterdays closing number. Seven different projects brought in 1K ETH in volume, with Cool Pets (3800 vol) leading the charge.

Lives of Asuna (.66E, 2500E Vol) also saw heavy action on reveal but also saw floor prices dropping over 60%. NFT Worlds (5.99E, +26%), Zipcys Supernormal (1.7E, +44%), Pudgy Penguins (1.32E, +32%) and Boss Beauties (2.5E, +13%) all saw solid floor gains on the day.

Notable Mints

  • Pixelmon, an upcoming Open World RPG game, sold out its initial run of 7750 characters in a public Dutch Auction that started at 3E and ended closing at a 2.4E price. The highly anticipated launch did not end up holding its end of the bargain after minting out as floors plummeted to its current 1.2E range on 5.2k ETH traded with 4.8k holders.   • Murat Pak has released a new open-ended collection called Censored. Holders can choose from a series of redacted words to form messages that can be minted at a price of their choosing. Mint period will be open until Feb 9th at 9AM EST.

Tuesday, 1/8

Slower day today as OS volume closed at $117 million, a 45% decline from yesterday and the lowest number we have seen since January 24th. LooksRare came in at $487 million. The pace on both mints and secondary action was sluggish as the market continues to find its footing during this lower volume period.

The unrevealed Karafuru (3.86E, +16%) continued its steady momentum, while KaijuKIngz (1.65E, +21%), Little Lemon Friends (.47E, +20%), Crypto Chicks (1.68E, +30%) and Webbland (1.66E, +18%) all had solid green days.

Wednesday, 2/10

Volume tapered to the downside once again as we closed at $114 million in daily transactions on OpenSea, just a tick down from yesterday’s number. LooksRare checked in at $475 million. A couple of decent mints today while secondary action remained sluggish.

Mekaverse (1.19E, +38%) saw some good action on the back of a nice floor sweep. Anonymice (1.69E, +14%), Etherorcs (3.2E, +13%), CryptoHoots (.48E, +34%) and RebelBots (.38E, +15%) all held their ground with solid green days as well.

Thursday, 2/11

A slight uptick in marketplace activity today as we closed at $124 million, a 3-day high. A solid combination of mints and reveals helped fuel secondary action as Karafuru (5E, +49%, 10k ETH 24h vol) led the charge with a healthy reveal. MFers (1.68E, +51%) continued their staggering momentum, while Cool Monkes (.78E, +75%), DeadFellaz (3.2E, +14%), Cryptoadz (2.72E, +13%) and Metroverse (.9E, +15%) all finished strong on the day.

Friday, 2/11

It wasn’t much but for the second day in a row we saw a slight uptick in daily volume as we closed at $132 million as Karafuru (1574E vol), BAYC (1368E) and CloneX (1033E) finished top three on the volume leaderboard. Psychedelics Anonymous Genesis (2.29E, +17%), Adam Bomb Squad (1.13E, +26%), WVRPS (.6E, +37%) and Metroverse (1.18E, +31%) all saw solid floor pops to finish green on the day.

Weekend Recap, 2/12–2/13

And just like that, volume in the marketplace picked right up as the weekend yielded back-to-back $200 million days, marking the first time in two weeks we’ve seen closing numbers in that range.

CryptoPunks were the big winners over the weekend, seeing a handful of big sales while bringing in over 10k in volume on Saturday. Coolman’s Universe (1.8E) and MFers (2.64E) continued to see steady floor action throughout the weekend. Pixelmon (1.38E, +46%), FLUF (4.39E, +11%), OnChain Monkey (1.58E, +17%), FishyFam (.27E, +47%) and Psychedelics Anonymous Genesis (3E, +33%) all saw strong floor gains to finish in the green.
