adChain Decentralized Server (aDS)

Instant Payments:

We have deployed test Delphi Contract to begin facilitating payments between advertisers and publishers in a test environment. Using Web3JS we started building out service for the Delphi Smart Contracts. Using test ERC20 tokens users can now fund campaigns and begin to test out the peer-to-peer payment process between advertisers and publishers.

Instant payment is a novel feature in the advertising space, as many campaign settlements go into accounts payable with up to months of waiting.

Bidder/Ad Server:

We are at a point where the bidder and the ad server are going to integrate with the WebApp Portal API in order to consume campaign and inventory data. Decisioning logic still needs to be built out on the bidder.

Client:

The user flow for onboarding Advertisers and Publishers has started and will guide first time users on how to include their domains in the adChain network.

The publisher view is built out and will soon include dynamically created JavaScript for the publishers to add into their site per inventory source. We integrated the IAB spec for safely delivering creative assets to the publisher page by using SafeFrames.

We upgraded most of the frontend project dependencies, with the mains ones being React V16 and Webpack 4.

adChain Publisher Registry

  • Updated the transaction progress modals to include a ‘Status’ button to transactions so that users can view current status of transactions on Etherscan
  • Fixed the Reddit chat section to be scrollable and also changed the input to be a text area, allowing users to have an easier time writing and viewing their comments

Development will be heavily focused on aDS over the next few months.
