Blockchain Xplore 2018
MetaX hosted Blockchain Xplore, a one-day, educational conference held at the Microsoft Conference Center in New York City on February 27, 2018. This conference was designed to drive a deeper understanding of the potential of blockchain-based technology for the digital advertising industry.
The morning sessions ranged in topic from a discussion around tokenization with Microsoft to a look at the marketing side of blockchain with Diageo and Tyson Foods. The afternoon jumped into a deeper understanding of cryptoeconomics and blockchain projects such as, Viant, Cellarius, and adChain. The overall flow of the conference first introduced attendees to blockchain concepts, then offered ideas for future application.
We are happy to announce that the room was filled with over 200 attendees and speakers who provided a variety of questions, conversation, and technical discovery. Attendees visited from companies like Spotify, Morgan Stanley, ConsenSys, Google, Blockfi, and many more. This merging of blockchain and the digital advertising ecosystem allowed for the bridging of the gap between the two realms.
