Q: What is MXS Games?

MXS Games is layer 1. We are an evolution from Gala Games/Immutable-X and offer a completely fresh perspective. Our players can play any game, use the same digital assets in multiple games and be rewarded daily for the activities in stable coins. One click onboarding into 30+ studio games (PC/mobile), invisible web3 & utilise ad revenue to benefit players. Q: What are the advantages of owning games rather than third party?

We have 32 playable games in various stages of development — both mobile and PC. We have more studio games compared to the top 3 competitors combined. Owning the IP for the games means that we can generate revenues from advertising (via Google/Facebook), micro transactions, NFT sales and merchandising. Our players also have the freedom to move around between games as they will all be interconnected with the same login/points system. 98% of the 3.5 billion worldwide gamers do not have a gaming PC, so mobile gaming will be the one to get mass adoption.

Q: When is token launch and what chain?

We plan to launch our token later this year, very likely around the end of Q3, on Avalanche. Initial node licence NFT rewards will be paid on Avalanche. Upon mainnet of XSeedChain (ETA 12 months after TGE), there will bridges to move liquidity from our native network to popular EVM chains like Avalanche, etc.

Q: Why are you called MXS Games?

We are a gaming studio that is laser focussed on the wellbeing of our players and community. By collaborating, we plan to grow into something amazing.

Q: You did a token sale in 2022. What is the difference and the reason that you are doing another raise?

We did a small raise back in 2022 on the same week as Luna collapsed (bad timing), followed by a long bear market. We took a decision to start building our games and infrastructure during the last 18 months.

We have come a long way and now at an advanced stage of development. We want to complete the funding rounds and go to market. Our valuation stays the same but we are much more progressed in our roadmap.

Q: I bought tokens in first round in 2022, how can I get my tokens.

Post launch, the tokens to be distributed according to the vesting schedule. If you purchased via an intermediate VC, the tokens will be distributed by them.

Q: What is the XSeed Chain?

XSeedChain is utilising Avalanche consensus for custom L1 managed by Ava Labs enabling MXS Games to rapidly build, deploy, and scale decentralized network for our ecosystem.

Web3 games requires a blockchain that has high TPS, low gas fees and optimised for gaming mechanics. Due to the volume of games that we have, it made perfect sense for us to have our own chain which can achieve 50k+ transactions per second, sub-second transaction finality, and net-zero carbon impact.

Being EVM compliant will allow for easy bridging of liquidity from the top top chains such as Ethereum, BSC, Avalanche, etc.

Q: What differentiates MXS Games from other similar projects?

Many factors differentiate us from the competition.

  1. Our games are fun to play and target 3.5 billion normal gamers.
  2. We will share up to 60% of the ad revenue back to the players. We value the time that players spend playing our games and generating ad revenue.

Q: What is the public sale node price?

Public round starts at $4k and price increases slowly with every node sold. Will be sold via our website (www.metaxseed.io). We will have 6k nodes in phase 1. Additional nodes will come online based on demand as we grow. So early node operators will get to share rewards with a lower number of node license holders.

Q: How are the rewards calculated?

There will be two rewards pools — Holders & Operators.

  1. Holders Pool — Open shortly after TGE. Get rewards for just holding licence NFTs in your wallet. One wallet can have multiple licences to multiply rewards.
  2. Operators Pool — Open upon blockchain mainnet (ETA 12 months after TGE), a new reward pool opens for running a node via Avalanche Cloud Services.

This means that in the early stages, holders will get daily rewards for holding the NFT while paying a nominal amount for hosting fees. This is also the period that has the highest yield. See node reward calculator.

Q: What is the USP compared to competition?

We have some major advantages over competition which include the following.

  1. ACCESS TO PLAYERS: As our games do not have a crypto token (web 2.5), we are able to list of Google, Apple and other major platform giving us access to billions of players.
  2. BUSINESS MODEL: We are integrated with Google & Facebook advertisement engines. We can offer sustainable revenues for all our games and partners.
  3. REVENUE SHARE: Our games are free to play and we will share up to 60% of our ad revenue with players in the form of stable coins. Our whole mission is to make gaming fair and transparent for players and value their time. There are no ponzinomics in our ecosystems.
  4. SINGLE TOKEN: In addition to gas fees, every one of our games NFTs & merch will be bought using the $XSEED token. Most game studios have 100s of tokens — one for each game leading to lower utility for the main ecosystem token.
  5. TRUE INTEROPERABILITY: Every game has a shared XP system so players can move seamlessly between games. Shared login for all games.
  6. WEB 2.5: One click onboarding via social media. Invisible web3. We automatically create a gaming wallet and email private keys. This will enable non-web3 players (99.9% of gamers) to play and generate revenue.
  7. SUPERIOR TECH: We have developed technology that injects adverts and digital assets directly into Unreal Engine games in real time. This opens a lot of future B2B opportunities.
  8. QUALITY OF GAMES: Our game quality matches that of traditional gaming. New in house or partner games will be voted on by DAO to ensure quality is maintained.

Q: Will your token launch on another chain for liquidity?

Yes, we are looking to launch on Avalanche until blockchain mainnet. Liquidity will be provided on Trader Joe Dex and also talking to some CEXes. For mainnet, we are creating bridges to all major EVM chains such as Avalanche, BSC, ETH, etc.

Q: How does MXS Games plan to establish strategic partnerships to expand its market reach globally, ensuring that the diverse portfolio of 32+ games attracts and retains a significant share of the 3 billion gamers worldwide?

The business model has built-in virality as it essentially pays players for their time in a fair manner. Every ad they watch will get rewarded (as they have fun). In addition, our model is so unique and good we have managed to attract the very best gaming influencers onto the team. As we start to activate them, sky’s the limit.

Q: Utilities of Nodes Licence NFTs

35% of our entire XSEED supply allocated for licence holder rewards. The node licence NFTs have the following utilities & functions:

  1. Holder rewards — Daily XSEED for NFT holders
  2. NFT gives a right to operate a game server
  3. Mythical node licences eligible for token airdrops
  4. Mythical node licences eligible for game airdrops
  5. Entry into weekly lottery. One ticket per NFT

Q: Delving into the revenue model, could you provide deeper insights into the mechanisms behind in-game advertising, Phygital Merchandise integration, and the NFT Marketplace? How does the team plan to maintain a competitive edge by continuously innovating in revenue generation within the gaming ecosystem?

For the in games adverts, we have already integrated with mature providers such as Google and Facebook. This will mean we have a reliable source of ads that have been vetted to ensure there is no harmful content and is relevant to the location of the player. There are different types of adverts (banner, interstitial, etc) and we will utilize each type to minimize player impact. The ads are optional and players only need to watch them if they want to participate in revenue sharing. Every 24 hours, we plan to distribute ad revenues based on the player engagement leader board.

As we own the games, we are in a position to monetize everything and yield revenue back to the treasury. These include:

  1. NFT sales for each game
  2. In-game advertising revenues
  3. In-game microtransactions
  4. Game related merchandise
  5. B2B in game promotions

Most of our primary competitors do not have these revenue streams options as they do not own many games or business model does not support it.

Q: Considering the intricate tokenomics model, particularly the utility-driven $XSEED token, how does the team envision its impact on community engagement? How do the proposed token burning and real-time adjustments using AI modelling contribute to long-term investor confidence and sustained ecosystem growth?

The XSEED token will have extremely high utility. Every game in our ecosystem (32 now, 100s in future) will use the XSEED token. After 6k nodes are sold, the remaining 24k nodes will be sold using XSEED token adding immense buy pressure on the token as we grow. This is what led to the Gala prices doing an x100.
We will explore options to remove these XSEED tokens from circulation either through locking or burning a proportion. We also have the option to introduce features to burn a proportion of the gas fees via games NFT sales fees if needed to support the token inflation. The DAO will get to decide these key decisions.

Q: With a flexible yet ambitious roadmap, what key strategies and contingencies are in place to ensure successful execution, especially in the face of unforeseen challenges? How does the team leverage its expertise to mitigate risks and maintain adaptability, ensuring each developmental stage builds upon the last toward achieving long-term project objectives?

As with any project, there are always risks that have to be mitigated to ensure long term success, these include:

  1. Funding Risks: We survived the bear market successfully and built an industry leading project so we know how to manage costs & burn rate. We have plenty of ways to raise capital and ensure long term success.
  2. Technical Risks: The founders & core team are technical and game development superstars with 25+ years experience in some cases. Our team has delivered products and games for the leading companies in the world. This means we do not overpay for external consulting and are able to make good strategic decisions.
  3. Quality Risks: Being a game studio with a large library of games means we do not “put our eggs in one basket”. If one of our games doesn’t do well, we can pivot quickly to change it or break it up for part as they are built modular. As competition increases, we have set aside 20% to improve existing games and also build/buy new ones.
  4. Narrative Risks: If the industry narrative changes, we can be highly agile and move accordingly. We have technical expertise for all types of game genres and platforms including mobile, PC, AR and VR. We can also quickly provide our games through different mediums and channels to reach our player base wherever they may be.

Q: Will the nodes always be sold in USD or will they be transitioned to be sold in XSEED after TGE?

Q. What will the team do with XSEED tokens received from public node sales?

First 6k nodes will be sold using stables. When we eventually start to accept XSEED as payment currency, we will explore options to remove these XSEED tokens from circulation either through locking or burning a proportion.

Q: So, as per the Tokenomics, the initial circulating supply will be 0.87% of the Total Supply?

Q: Will the node licence NFTs be tradable?

They will not be tradable to start with. After we secure the network with enough operators, the node license NFTs will be tradable. You will need to hold the NFTs in wallet to claims rewards from holders and operator pools

We will have 6k nodes in phase 1. Additional nodes will come online based on demand as we grow. So early node operators will get to share rewards with a lower number of node license holders.

Q: When we receive a node licence in our wallet, can we send it to another address in the 6 months we’re waiting for operator pools to go live, and will that affect rewards?

The NFTs will not be tradeable at the start. Trading will open up after the network has enough operators.

Q: According to the information, each node will receive a number between 1 and 30000. The question is whether we will be assigned a mythical number (1–3000) or a legendary number (3001–5000) in this round?

The node licence NFTs will have different rarities. A unique number is allocated based on the purchase order and that dictate the type with Mythical & Legendary being the most prestigious and limited in number. Usually the highest rarities are the most expensive but in this case, they are the cheapest and given on a FCFS basis (first come, first serve, fair launch).

This way we ensure out early supporters are the most well looked after.

Mythical/Legendary node licence holders will be eligible for:

  1. Higher staking yields
  2. Game NFT airdrops
  3. Access to OG club (benefits to be announced)
  4. Exclusive access to partner rewards
  5. Early access to new games incentivised test nets

Q: Gaming blockchains like Myria and XAI are offering a feeless experience for their users. But it doesn’t seem to be the case with MXS Games. How do you intend to compete in this regard?

We have a fully different model using web 2.5. XSeedChain will have low gas fees and games will use the blockchain to own digital assets. Our games will be designed not to create unnecessary transactions that do not enhance the gameplay or provide value. This will keep the chain light and efficient.

Q: How do you intend to attract users to your chain?

We intend to attract player by keeping all the good things about traditional gaming, such as:

  1. Fun games
  2. Social media onboarding
  3. Effective monetization

Plus we intend to use web3 to add value for players which include:

  1. Shared economy
  2. Ownership of assets
  3. Interoperability

Q: Will XSeedChain be EVM compatible?

Yes, it will be an EVM chain and compatible with all major chains such as Ethereum, Avalanche, BSC, Polygon, ect. There will be bridges to move liquidity and digital assets between chains.

Q: How do you negate the sell pressure from token dilution?

Seed and private rounds are vesting over 18 months. As we have over 32 games in advanced stages of dev, we will provide extremely high utility.

Q: Why should I buy nodes and not tokens?

Both can be a good depending on your timeframe and perspective.

Nodes: A few of things to consider

  1. Nodes will be rewarding for 10 years so generate rewards for a much longer time.
  2. Mythical node operators are eligible for game NFTs
  3. Node licence holder will be eligible for additional airdrops and lotteries.

Tokens: A few of things to consider

  1. Can accumulate a larger number quicker
  2. No need to run nodes to get rewards

Q: How you guys can build so many games? A lot of companies have a team of this size for just one game. and even then the game may still not be good. How is this possible?

We have both mobile casual games and AA PC games. Our PC games are industry leading using Unreal Engine 5 (see gameplay video or test out the games). We were one of first web3 teams to be using Ureal Engine back in 2020.

In addition to having one of the best teams in the industry, we use the following to grow our games library:

  1. Our team has been building games for over 10 years and we using much of our back catalogue and also acquired some games from third parties.
  2. We use AI to optimise expensive and time consuming aspects such as concept artwork, environment creation, rigging, etc.
  3. We make our game system modular and thereby get economy of scale. Our game components (smart contracts, VFX, integrations, shared logic, game physics, animations, etc) are made to be up to 80% re-usable we we can spin up new games faster and cheaper.

We were the only blockchain gaming company invited to join London blockchain Expo where we held a games tournament for some of our games like Operation Satoshi.

Q: What launchpads are confirmed?

We have too many to choose from. Talking to DaoMaker, Neo Tokyo, Bullperks, ChainGPT, etc. In the end we have a limited allocation from public rounds so we will agree, decide and announce when the time is right.

Q: I seen layer 0. Is layer 0 going to be what you launch your L1 on?

We are a layer 1 chain. However the layer zero reference is a conceptual term for our games that will all have the same login system, points system and NFTs purchased using $XSEED. Immense utility for a single token. We have 32 games and in the future 100s.

Q: How can you build games so fast?

We do four things to speed up game development time:

  1. Create game concept art using latest AI tools. Previously a concept artists would spend 6 months to do something we can now do in 1 day at a fraction of the cost.
  2. Use prebuilt marketplace assets to create alpha versions of game to prove concept and mechanics. This reduces cost and time.
  3. We build our generic shared components like smart contracts, VFX, security infrastructure, data models & integrations to be re-usable across multiple games.
  4. Integrate with mature frameworks like Google authentication and advert management engines so we don’t have to build ourselves.

Q: Do you use assets from marketplace or build your own?

All games use a combination of both custom and marketplace assets. This is the case for most games made in recent years. When making a game, it can require 1000s of assets - we will check to see what assets are available in marketplace to save time and cost, e.g. buildings, NPCs, AI, etc. If we can buy a car model for $100, why spend 6 months and $50k making an inferior model? Wherever there are major gaps, we shall instruct our 3D modellers to build. The marketplace is designed to help game devs build faster and cheaper. During the game alpha phase, we rely more on pre-built assets to prove game mechanics, physics, logic, AI, terrain and performance. In beta and final version, the assets maybe swapped for custom built ones as we prepare for launch. Too many games start to build expensive assets only to realise the game is not playable which is the incorrect and inexperienced approach.

Q: Can more tokens be minted?

No more tokens can be minted after TGE. Max ever supply is 50 billion.

Q: Do you make all your own games?

We make original games, buy games from other studios and onboard team members with their own library of games. In all cases, the objective is to integrate games into a shared login, points system, infrastructure and overall UI/UX. We plan to scale up this process to give our players a lot of choices.

Q: Do you only make basic mobile games?

We have both casual mobile games and also cutting edge PC games using Unreal Engine. We were one of the first web3 studios to start using Unreal Engine back in 2021. From a business perspective, 98% of the planet does not have an expensive gaming PC so mobile gaming will be the first mass adoption area.

Q: How does the 60% USDT airdrop to players work? $20 per 1000 impressions so 2c per user that viewed the ads?

Ad revenue depends on many factors and type of adverts. Interstitial ads pay the most revenue. This ad driven freemium model is not a new concept and already proven to be extremely lucrative when done right. Types of ads are..

As we have a large library of games, we don’t rely on one of two games that may fade over time. We will keep adding new games and onboard people into our ecosystem. All the ad revenue will be pooled back to our treasury. We then split the profits 60:40 in favor of players. Make gaming FAIR!

The ad / microtransaction model is already a proven industry standard. It generates $500 billion each year. We will optimize our games and systems to have a balance between optimal fun and incentivized adverts. The ads will be optional but if players do watch, they get points and therefore can be eligible for rewards.

Q: Total download is less than 100k. How is the team going to compete with other mobile games studios?

We are in our seed round and games are being tested. Our download count is much higher but sometimes get reset when we publish a new version of the game. The games haven’t formally been published yet. There are no adverts, microtransactions or any marketing enabled yet. In test net, the objective is to get weekly feedback for the dev teams to keep improving. As a comparison, other competitors such as XAI, Playa3ull & Myria have very few games published to date. Making a game can take many years. As we already have a large library that we own, the marketing won’t be a challenge as we have onboarded a super team of KOLs, will use viral referrals and have a unique revenue share model.
