Metglobal is more than a travel company. The reason behind is the huge IT team and IT products that we develop in-house and offer to our customers. We are a technology company, working in the travel domain. Being a cutting-edge technology company is one of our greatest assets. New ideas, tools and technology are encouraged here.

In order to achieve our vision, which is “Develop innovative solutions that create joyful experiences for global travellers”, we invest in two major components; that are people and the tools we develop and use.

We always stay on top of new technologies and tools. We continuously work on improving our knowledge, follow latest trends and add value.

At Metglobal, we make our decisions based on data, we love data! We have a big data ecosystem which helps all business teams make data driven decisions.

We do daily stand-up meetings especially within all our IT teams in order to be updated of our daily jobs and each other.

We believe all of us are responsible for our mistakes and achievements. Mistakes are considered as a great tool to understand you are on the wrong path! We do mistakes but we look back and correct them with goodwill. We don’t hide our mistakes, we ask for ideas from our team members and from other teams. Brainstorming sessions on certain complex problems are considered a great way to decide on the next step.

We attend to worldwide technology events in order to catch up with the innovations.

We have the talent program where we hire newly graduates and teach them different programming languages.

We also have “Tech Talk” events that are done on weekly basis, having IT Teams speak on certain subjects and share their know-how with each other.

The most important thing is that we make sure all developers are given sufficient amounts of coffee.
