How to: Install OxygenOS • OOS Beta on OnePlus Phones!

Do you own a OnePlus device (especially OnePlus 5T and beta 3 with iPhone X like gesture navigation), and you want to learn how to easily install a new beta software on your phone, so you can get new, experimental features before they find a way into the official releases?
Than this article is written for you!

There are actually more ways to get the beta software onto your phone, I will show you the two that I personally use.

Being completely stock

You can download the ROM file from HERE.

Download the software build for your device at the bottom of this page.

Plug your phone into your computer and copy the downloaded .zip to your phone’s storage. If you’re using a Mac, you can install Android File Transfer for this operation.

After the .zip file is copied to your phone, reboot your phone into recovery mode. To do this, shut down your device and turn it back on while holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously.

Choose “Install from internal storage/Install from local”, find your .zip file and click on “Install” to confirm.

And done! You are officially running the latest and greatest that OnePlus has to offer for your phone!

If you have installed custom recovery

You can download the ROM file from HERE.

Download the software build for your device at the bottom of this page.

• Once the file is downloaded copy the .zip on to the internal storage.
• Reboot into the TWRP recovery

After the .zip file is copied to your phone, reboot your phone into recovery mode. To do this, shut down your device and turn it back on while holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously.

Once you are in TWRP press “Install” button.

Find a file you would like to install in this case — OnePlus5TOxygen_43_OTA_006_all_1801292042_0848ac7a63b24cdd.zip.

Just swipe to confirm flash.

After it’s done just wipe cache and reboot.

And that is it! You are officially running the latest OnePlus BETA!!
