As we said many times before, at Metodix, we like to get the most out of our devices, and when it comes to iOS there is only way to do it — Jailbreak.
We have waited for quite a while for a jailbreak to become available, but now the wait is finally over, and it’s a go time!
So if you want to learn how to get the most of your device, you need to learn how to jailbreak first, and this is exactly what we are going to show you in this article!

Where to start?
Over the years there were many methods of jailbreaking, and most of theme required a PC, luckily this is not the case anymore. For this jailbreak all you need is a iPhone and internet connection and about 5 minutes of your time!
Let’s get this party rocking!
So the first thing you need to do now is to open up Safari on your iPhone and go to https://www.tweakboxapp.com/ website.
Then you need to press on the “DOWNLOAD APP” Button.
The popup will appear, press Allow
Once the download is finished you will be asked to Install the profile, press Install.
Once the profile is installed, go to the homescreen and open up Tweakbox app.
Go to the APPS tab and press it.
Once you open the APPS tab, press on the Tweakbox apps
Once opened, go and find Electra Jailbreak. Now this is the important step.. You need to find the right one for your iOS version! I am on 11.1.3, so I’ll chose this one.
Click on the app.
And press install
A new popup window will appear, asking you if you want to install the app.
Press install.
No go on and open up the Electra app.
The Untrusted developer popup will appear.. Press cancel, and go into settings / general / Profiles & Device Management, open it up and trust the profile.
Now go back and open up Electra app once again.
Now put your iPhone into the Airplane mode this is very important! IF you don’t do that, the Jailbreak wont be successful!
Your iPhone will restart during the process, don’t worry this is normal. Once the process is finished, you might need to open up Electra once again and press enable Jailbreak, that is normal.
After that the Cydia icon will appear.
Open up Cydia and install your favourite Jailbreak tweaks, congrats, you are officially jailbroken!
