“ Pocket Friend podcast is created by two teenagers.
Who like to talk about technology, mostly the one you find in your pocket, your smartphone.
Pocket Friend is a podcast about apps, games and almost anything that you can do with your smartphone.
Don’t you think you should know more about the device you use daily? ”

Podcast? What is that?!

Apparently podcast is..

Podcast is a digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device, typically available as a series, new instalments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.

Ok, that pretty much sums it up, at least technically…

For me, personally podcast is a really fun way to learn new things, to catch up with current events, to listen about the things you actually like..
I’ve came across the “podcast world”some years ago, that was the time I purchased Pocket Casts, this is actually by far the best podcast app on all the platforms, you can get it on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. I will link the official site down below..
Pocket Casts is a paid app, but it is worth every penny, as it gets updated regularly and the UI is definitely the best in the market (this is of course subjective, but trust me when i say it’s hard to argue on this one.)
Of course there are many free alternatives on the Play Store such as Anchor, Podcast Player, Podcast Go,.. Just to name a few, and if you are on the iOS, you have a free native app called Podcasts.
The podcasts — so the digital audio files is actually free.

Ok now that we know what is a podcast and the way we can actually listen to it, we can finally move to the star of the article, one of the podcasts who continues to evolve, to grow and has a huge potential to become one of the best tech podcasts out there Pocket Friend
