meTokens: June Updates
June was another busy month for the meTokens team and we’re excited to share some highlights with the community!
Private Beta Live! Rinkeby Public Test Network 🔜
Beginning in June, we officially rolled our our project to a private group of testers. Next, is a comprehensive public test on Rinkeby Test Network!
Users will be able to set up their profile and connect with other builders within the meTokens ecosystem!
Additionally, users on Rinkeby Test Network will be able to mint a meToken, as well as buy, sell and spend other meTokens. As we test our functionalities, we invite all users to share your thoughts on our design on Twitter and submit any bugs on our forum’s FIX $ME page.
👷meTokens Team is Growing!
We added two new members join the meTokens team this month!
Bijan formerly served as Head of Product at Mina Protocol and will be providing expertise on meTokens go-to market strategy as meTokens Product Advisor.
James formerly worked on smart contracts at Lit Protocol and has joined our team as a Full Stack Developer.

🆕 Upgraded Feature: Spend meToken!
We are always shipping new features to our front-end to make personal tokens easier to digest for all users. This month, we upgraded our Spend meTokens web flow to provide all users with more confidence when spending tokens with a creator. Now, capturing your true value is easier than ever with our updated Spend modal.
Now, users who qualify for a discount will see the price displayed along with information on the discount before spending tokens. Tool tips will be displayed at every step making it easy for new users to calculate the value of their meTokens purchases and any additional value derived from the token.
🌏 Building Around the World!
meTokens team is global, crossing Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. This month, meTokens was spotted IRL in New York City for NFT.NYC! Although we are a Ethereum focused dApp, meTokens are tools for all creators, especially NFT artists. Throughout NFT.NYC we shared use cases, and connected with the community on ways creators can earn using personal tokens. Check out our full recap HERE!
