Bridging Web 3 data to Create Web 3 Reputation
In Web 3, user data is scattered across multiple venues, from the dApps on public blockchain to off-chain apps where data are kept in traditional databases. Data protocols have proliferated to organize these data. The more people use Web 3 applications, the more scattered the data. At the current phrase of development in Web 3, it’s hard to locate a single protocol that would cover the data prints of a user across all Web 3 apps.
Challenges facing application of user data
With various protocols capturing data differently, it’s difficult for projects and communities to apply data in their business settings.

We strongly believe that a reputation system that consolidates Web 3 data in a single frontend that is available for all would make Web 3 users and projects more powerful than ever. For individuals, a reputation creates an identity that unlock achievements, credentials, and rewards; and for the community, a reputation system would help them manage and incentivize members in community settings.
Based on Metopia’s reputation system, Metopia creates a one-stop shop of applications that for the first time, unlock the usage of data in real project and community settings.
Metopia Application 01: Governance
Metopia enables a DAO governance application directly built on top of the Web 3 reputation system. With data integrations, DAO governance for projects now is more customizable than ever, with the following capabilities:
- Members can now vote for a proposal with multiple tokens (NFT, FT, Soul Bound Token, POAP) in a multi-token community;
- Projects can customize vote power based on metadata;
- Projects can give more vote weight to members with credentials such as POAP & SBT.
Metopia Application 02: Incentive
Metopia enables projects and communities to directly issue and reward credential and reward tokens including POAP and SBT to members and contributors based on events and tasks.
For credentials and reward issuing, communities and projects can create tasks and events such as:
- Space, AMA, launch parties;
- Governance participations;
- Loyalty (holding time), trading, etc.
Metopia Application 03: Launchpad (in dev)
Based on Metopia’s reputation system, communities and projects can launch new collections, sales, and whitelists for qualifying members based on their credentials. Launchpad features based on Web 3 reputation include:
- Prioritizing launch access for members based on holding history, Proof-of-Attendance, SBT, etc.
- Whitelist registrations based on contributions and credentials.
