Mettalex Amplify — Live on Binance Smart Chain
To avoid the hefty gas fees and slow transaction confirmation time on the Ethereum network, liquidity providers can now farm anyMTLX with BUSD on Binance Smart Chain.
We are overjoyed to announce that Mettalex’s long-term, high-yield farming program — Amplify — is now available on Binance Smart Chain (BSC).
Yield seekers can now farm anyMTLX tokens with up to 275% APY in the anyMTLX:BUSD pool.
Bonus period in the 72 hours!
anyMTLX rewards will begin being distributed from block 5167880 (in about 6 hours). This should be ample time to set up your MetaMask wallets and get some BUSD and BNB tokens.
Main features
- 250,000 anyMTLX tokens will be distributed to yield farmers.
- One-sided liquidity provision in BUSD tokens.
- A convenient way to transfer MTLX tokens between Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum using the AnySwap bridge.
- Metalex-developed bridge to be announced soon for improved cost-efficiency.
- Extremely low gas fees and lighting fast transaction confirmations.
- Familiar interface, almost identical to the Mettalex Amplify one on Ethereum.
To join Mettalex Amplify on Binance Smart Chain, you need:
- MetaMask wallet set to the Binance Smart Chain network

Yield farming in Amplify on Binance Smart Chain
There are two options that yield farmers can use to join the Amplify program on Binance Smart Chain
- Farm anyMTLX with BUSD only.
- Farm anyMTLX with BUSD and anyMTLX.
Yield farming with BUSD only
This option is best suited for users:
- who are new to DeFi
- who already own BUSD
- who are currently farming on Amplify and don’t want to withdraw liquidity from the Uniswap pool(s)
- who are unwilling to pay for gas fees to transfer their MTLX to anyMTLX on AnySwap
You can watch this short video tutorial or go through the steps below:
Here is how it works.
Once you have some BUSD and BNB (instructions below) what you need to do is:
- Make sure your MetaMask wallet is set to Binance Smart Chain (Mainnet).
2. Go to amplify-bsc.mettalex.com
3. You will be prompted to select the wallet that you wish to use. Select MetaMask.
Note: The Torus Wallet option is suitable for users who don’t have MetaMask set up. With Torus, users can create a new Binance Smart Chain wallet using a social media account like Facebook, Google, Discord, Reddit, and others. To learn more about Torus Wallet, please watch this short video.
4. Connect the MetaMask account that has the BUSD and BNB tokens.
5. Make a note of your BUSD balance on the Amplify interface.
6. Enter the amount of BUSD you want to farm with or click “MAX”. Then click “FARM” to initiate the MetaMask confirmation process.
7. Just like in the case of Amplify on Ethereum, initiating farming on BSC requires four transactions. The first one allows the Amplify smart contract to manage your BUSD. Note the low fee!
8. The second transaction that you have to approve enables the Amplify smart contract to spend your BUSD. 50% of the BUSD will be used to buy anyMTLX tokens. The resulting BUSD and anyMTLX tokens are deposited in the anyMTLX:BUSD pool on PancakeSwap. That action generates Cake LP tokens that are deposited in your MetaMask wallet.
9. The third transaction enables the Amplify smart contract to manage your Cake LP tokens.
10. The final, fourth transaction deposits the Cake LP tokens to the Amplify contract and initiates farming.
11. The total cost of the transactions was less than $1.5!
12. Once the final transaction is confirmed by the Binance Smart Chain network, the “My Stake” section of the Amplify interface will be updated.
How to get Binance’s stablecoin — BUSD?
The best place to get BUSD is Binance. There are numerous pairs available there, but the most liquid ones are:
- BTC/BUSD
- USDT/BUSD
- ETH/BUSD
- BNB/BUSD
- USDC/BUSD
A good, decentralized alternative is Curve Finance, where you can find:
- DAI/BUSD
- USDT/BUSD
- USDC/BUSD
How to get Binance Smart Chain’s gas token — BNB?
Just like on Ethereum, on BSC all transactions require gas. Unlike Ethereum, however, gas on BSC is paid in BNB tokens, not ETH.
The good news is that gas fees on Binance Smart Chain are only a fraction of the fees on Ethereum!
The best place to get BNB, again, is Binance. There are tens of different BNB pairs there but the most liquid ones are:
- BNB/USDT
- BNB/BUSD
- BNB/BTC
Moving BUSD from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain
If you already have BUSD as an ERC-20 token (on Ethereum), you have to move it to Binance Smart Chain, effectively converting it from ERC-20 to BEP-20.
To do that:
- Make sure that your MetaMask wallet is set to the Binance Smart Chain network.
2. Go to Binance Bridge
3. Click on “Connect Wallet” in the upper right corner of the screen.
4. Select MetaMask in the “Connect Wallet” pop-up screen.
5. The connected wallet address and network will be displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.
6. Select BUSD from the “Asset” drop-down menu. Input the BUSD amount you want to transfer.
Note: The maximum amount of BUSD that could be moved to Binance Smart Chain per transfer is 5000 BUSD. The total daily limit per address is 103k BUSD. You will receive 100% of the amount you want to move from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain. You will be charged 3 BUSD (in addition to gas fees) for a transfer from BSC to Ethereum.
7. The “Destination” field will be filled in automatically based on the connected MetaMask wallet.
8. If you don’t have BNB tokens, it is recommended to get some. Binance Bridge enables users to acquire BNB in the same transaction. Just tick the “I want to swap some BNB gas in this order”.
Note: The minimum amount of BNB that can be purchased in 0.5 or 65 USD (at 130 USD/BNB). If you select to get some BNB for gas, the minimum amount of BUSD that you can transfer increases from 57 BUSD to 328 BUSD. The maximum amount of BUSD that can be transferred also increases beyond 5000 BUSD per transaction.
9. Click “Next” and follow the instructions to initiate the MetaMask transaction and complete the transfer.
Yield farming with anyMTLX and BUSD
This option is suited for more advanced users who currently have MTLX and BUSD or other stablecoins.
If you currently don’t have BUSD, please look at the “How to get Binance’s Stablecoin BUSD?” section above.
How to get anyMTLX?
anyMTLX is the Binance Smart Chain equivalent of MTLX tokens on Ethereum. We have integrated the MTLX token in the AnySwap Bridge to enable the transfer of MTLX from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain and vice-versa.
You can watch this short video or go through the steps below.
If you already have MTLX tokens in your MetaMask wallet what you need to do is:
- Make sure that the Network list in your MetaMask wallet includes Binance Smart Chain’s mainnet. To learn how to add BSC there refer to the “Adding the Binance Smart Chain network to MetaMask” section above.
2. Make sure that you have your MTLX tokens in your MetaMask wallet (irrespective of the network).
3. Make sure you have some ETH in the same wallet where your MTLX tokens are.
4. Go to AnySwap Bridge
5. Switch the AnySwap default network from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain:
6. Once you have switched AnySwap to Binance Smart Chain, select MTLX by clicking on the ANY button (default token), type MTLX in the search field, and select anyMTLX.
7. You will see a screen that allows you to transfer MTLX to Binance Smart Chain, turning it into anyMTLX (BEP-20).
8. If you haven’t already, switch your MetaMask wallet to Binance Smart Chain and connect to AnySwap by pressing the “Connect a Wallet” button in the upper right corner of the page.
9. In the pop-up window select MetaMask.
10. Connect the wallet that has your MTLX tokens on Ethereum in the MetaMask pop-up window.
Note: BSC and Ethereum wallet addresses are the same.
11. Your MTLX token balance will be displayed on the AnySwap interface, and you will be able to perform a CrossChain Deposit.
12. Select the amount of MTLX tokens you wish to transfer to Binance Smart Chain and then click the “CrossChain Deposit” button.
13. MetaMask will require you to sign a message. This is not a high-fee transaction, in our tests it cost about 8 USD to make it at a gas price of 128 Gwei. Find one of our Ethereum mainnet test transactions here.
14. Once you sign the transaction, you will see a window with your pending message sign transaction on Ethereum.
Note: Estimated time for deposit confirmation is between 10–30 minutes.
15. Once the transaction is mined by the Ethereum network, you will see this window. The transaction will also need to be confirmed by Binance Smart Chain:
15. If you close any of the above windows, you can bring them back by clicking on this icon in the upper right corner of the page.
15. Once the Binance Smart Chain transaction is confirmed, you will see the number of tokens you transferred here:
Note: You will not be able to see your anyMTLX balance in MetaMask, unless you add this token using the anyMTLX BSC contract address: 0x5921dee8556c4593eefcfad3ca5e2f618606483b. In MetaMask click “Add Token” -> “Custom Token” -> paste the contract address (above) -> click “Next” -> click “Add Token”
How to transfer anyMTLX back to the Ethereum network to get MTLX?
To transfer anyMTLX back to the Ethereum network and get MTLX, you need to:
- Click on the “Redeem” tab in AnySwap.
- Select the number of tokens you want to transfer back to Ethereum.
- Enter the Ethereum address where you want to receive the MTLX. It can be the same wallet address that is currently connected via MetaMask.
- Click “Redeem” and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
Note: The withdrawal fee is 0.1%, the minimum withdrawal fee is 1 MTLX, the maximum withdrawal fee is 50 MTLX.
How to supply liquidity in anyMTLX and BUSD to PancakeSwap and get Cake LP tokens?
Once you have anyMTLX and BUSD in your MetaMask wallet connected to Binance Smart Chain, you are a few transactions away from joining Amplify on Binance Smart Chain.
What you need to do is:
- Go to PancakeSwap’s liquidity page and click “Add Liquidity”.
2. In the top “Input” field search for “anyMTLX” and select it.
3. In the bottom “Input” field search for “BUSD” and select it.
4. You will be able to see your MetaMask balances for both assets. Click “MAX” next to the asset which you have less of. In the example below, we have clicked on the BUSD “MAX” button, since we only have 66 BUSD which is worth 6.544 anyMTLX at the current market price. Liquidity is added at a 50:50 ratio just like on Uniswap.
5. Before the “Supply” option becomes available, you will need to enable PancakeSwap to manage the anyMTLX and BUSD tokens in your MetaMask wallet. That will require the confirmation of two MetaMask transactions.
6. Once you have enabled PancakeSwap to manage your anyMTLX and BUSD, click “Supply”. You will see a pop-up which informs you of the number of Cake LP tokens you will receive. Click “Confirm Supply”.
7. Next, you will have to confirm a MetaMask transaction. In our tests, that transaction cost about 0.5 USD (!!!) and was verified in about 15 seconds.
8. Once the transaction confirms, click on “Liquidity” and you will see your liquidity under “Your Liquidity”. If you click on anyMTLX/BUSD you will see more details, including your pool share.
Note: The pool share relates to your share from total liquidity in the PancakeSwap pool, not in the Amplify program. Not all liquidity in the PancakeSwap participates in the Amplify program on Binance Smart Chain.
9. You now have Cake LP pool tokens which you can stake in Amplify on Binance Smart Chain.
Note: To see the Cake LP tokens in your MetaMask add this token using the anyMTLX BSC contract address: 0x396e3474a8d1b5882072a4a181b80c52b9fed479. In MetaMask click “Add Token” -> “Custom Token” -> paste the contract address (above) -> click “Next” -> click “Add Token”
How to stake Cake LP tokens in Amplify on Binance Smart Chain?
Once you have the Cake LP tokens:
- Go to amplify-bsc.mettalex.com
- You will be prompted to select the wallet that you wish to use.
4. Connect the MetaMask account that has the your Cake LP tokens and some BNB for payment of gas fees.
5. Make a note of your BUSD balance on the Amplify interface. Your Cake tokens balance should be visible in the “Wallet Balance” section.
6. Enter the amount of Cake LP tokens you want to stake in the “Stake” section or click “MAX”. Click on the “STAKE” button to initiate the MetaMask wallet confirmations.
7. The first transaction enables the Amplify contract to manage your Cake LP tokens. Click “Confirm”.
8. The second transaction will transfer your Cake LP tokens to the Amplify contract effectively initiating yield farming. Click “Confirm”.
9. You are done! The “My Stake” section of the Amplify interface is updated to display your stake, rewards, and percentage of the Amplify anyMTLX:BUSD pool. Your wallet balance is reduced by the number of Cake LP tokens you have staked and those are deposited in the Amplify smart contract.
How to redeem/unstake liquidity in Amplify on Binance Smart Chain?
Watch this short video:
Note: The Redeem function will swap your anyMTLX tokens for BUSD. A 5% withdrawal fee will be charged on the accrued MTLX rewards.
