Following our successful project launch in June 2024, the KDSC community gathered at the CODED HQ in Kuwait this week with a mix of government representatives, corporate leaders, and founders, sparking conversations about advancing and supporting Kuwait’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Shaping the KDSC project: Focus on Founders

One of the key outcomes of the event was the invaluable feedback gathered from current and prospective entrepreneurs in attendance. Their input provided insights into the specific challenges and opportunities they face as they scale their ventures. From funding gaps to mentorship needs, these discussions have helped us better understand how to shape future programs and events to truly meet the needs of Kuwait’s startup community.

The success of this event is a testament to the growing strength of the KDSC community and the crucial role events like these play in Kuwait’s evolving entrepreneurial landscape.

“The Kuwait Digital Startup Campus (KDSC) project brings tremendous hope to Kuwait’s startup ecosystem. I was truly amazed by the turnout at the initial event and am eager to see the programs come to life soon. This will enable Kuwait’s entrepreneurs to be upskilled and elevate their startups to new heights.” — Ahmad Marafi, Co-Founder and CEO of CODED

A special thank you to all the attendees for contributing to an insightful and impactful evening. We’re excited to see where these new connections will lead and look forward to future collaborations.
