[Week 5, December 2022] MEVerse Weekly Report
5. News & Updates
🔶 EVM is now ready in MEVerse Testnet
We are delighted to announce that MEVerse developed and released the ‘Ethereum Virtual Machine(EVM),’ a virtual machine that runs on Ethereum-based programming language(Solidity) on the MEVerse Testnet.
Ethereum, which takes a large portion of the demand and supply of the blockchain industry, consists of a programming language called ‘Solidity,’ However, MEVerse mainnet uses a programming language called ‘GO,’ an open-source language supported by Google.
Many blockchain developers create decentralized applications for the EVM stack that can run on Ethereum and on blockchains that have implemented EVM compatibility by using the Solidity programming language. And this point allows developers to make DApps, tokens, and other various blockchain services on multiple blockchains.
Many blockchain mainnets exist, but developers need to be more friendly to utilize other mainnets since most of the current blockchain projects and blockchain services are based on the Solidity language. As a result, interoperability between Solidity and different software programming language is the key point for solving the blockchain development industry.
The testnet launch of EVM compatibility on MEVerse is designed for developers to deploy smart contracts on the blockchain and test out our EVM to create decentralized applications that any contents they wish to scratch out.
Once developers continuously test out EVM applications on MEVerse testnet and test their performance, MEVerse’s reliability and efficiency of the development process in our mainnet will be sustainably improved.
The final EVM will be launched in Jan 2023! If you are interested in migrating your blockchain project or scratching the new EVM applications, you can start to try now! We will be even happy to hear any bug reports as well!
Good luck with our outstanding blockchain technology!

🔶 MEVerse Roadmap in 2023
In the first half of 2022, MEVerse was acquired by ME2ON, a global mobile game company with more than 170M users worldwide. Starting with sharing M&A great news, MEVerse completely updated to MEVerse Mainnet 2.0 version, which significantly improved blockchain performance compared to MEVerse Mainnet 1.0. Since then, we have continuously launched and updated our blockchain services to provide user-friendly infrastructures, including MEVerse Keystore, Explorer, MEVerse Bridge, MEVerse DEX, and NFT Marketplace.
In the year’s second half, MEVerse has onboarded a casual strategic battle P2E game called Pocket Battles: NFT War on MEVerse Mainnet. Moreover, it achieved more than 150k users and became the Top 1 most trending P2E game and Top 1 Casual game on PlaytoEarn.net, one of the biggest P2E websites globally, among those outstanding P2E games. After that, our mainnet transaction reached over 1000k, our NFT marketplace traded volume reached over 20M, and more than 50k users in about 153 different counties are using MEVerse DEX.
Currently, the MEVerse Mainnet is being used in diverse places. MEVerse Mainnet was added to MetaMask, and several exchanges that MEVerse listed integrated MEVerse mainnet, including MEXC and Bithumb; therefore, users are able to transfer the MEV much cheaper and faster than using the Ethereum network.
Besides that, MEVerse opened the Testnet of Ethereum Virtual Machine(EVM), a virtual machine that runs on Ethereum-based programming language on the MEVerse Testnet. With that, Ethereum-based blockchain services can be compatible with its mainnet services.
In 2022, the MEVerse team tried our best to achieve each plan on the Roadmap; however, cause of the unexpected market conditions this year, we put the most effort into the mainnet security and minimized the risk reductions. Therefore, we postponed some of our roadmap plans, but we will try our priority to achieve them in 2023.
We are excited to share our next step of the 2023 Roadmap with you and look forward to accomplishing the following achievements.
