How much Rumi has been scribbled
However, love recognizes you wherever it sees you
O scholar whose glory is supreme in the heart of the truth
Make me the path of contemplation with the light of knowledge
Accept from me to touch your work
May it come to the helpless, whose punishment has not been heard for a long time.
The heavens and the earth in agony
A wretched self surrounded me
My helplessness was a pathetic claim of desolation
Somehow, my life weeps for a time that has been committed with sin, of sins
My only consolation is that I am relieved of injustice
I added seas to misery
If you know a cure for my troubles
Or a prayer manifestation dedicated to the truth
Be the light, the dream, the heart, O beloved
This bird of torment should rejoice that it has given you someone
And those who don’t have it should be blessed
Is there nothing to be remembered?
May the mercy of those who are in heaven be fixed
May the vechi be born again to me in love with the truth
This time is in the grip of loneliness
Let there be a passage flowing to thousands of hearts again

Azabı nicedir duyulmayan acizlere gelsin demi
Izdırap içinde gökler yerler
Bir sefil benlik çepeçevre kuşattı diye
Aczim zavallı bir viranelik iddiası oldu
Nasıl olduysa tümüyle günahlardan günah ile işlenmiş bir zamana ağlıyor ömrüm
Tek tesellim haksızlık aczinden ganiy olmak ile solunur iken
Sefalete denizler ekledim
Sen derdime deva bir yol bilirsen
Ya da bir dua tecellisi hakka adanan
Işık ol düş gönle ey sevgili
Bu azap kuşu sana birini verdi diye sevinmeli
Olmayana da ya nasip demeli
Hiçbir şey yok mu hatırı kurulsun
Gökte olanların merhameti doğrulsun
Hakka aşık vechi yeniden bana doğsun
Yanlızlığın pençesinde bu vakit
Yine binlerce gönle akan geçit olsun
Sen alimsin bilirsin diye kapısını aşk evinin
Bu dertli biçare acze merhem yoksa da bulunsun
Ey dertli gönüllerin talibi
Beni uçan kuşlar bile belledi
Halim iyiye gitsin diye tedbiren bir yola girmiş durumdayım
Ama gönlün tüm neşesi bu virane esarette söndü diye
Artık hiç feyiz doğmadan yaşamaktayım
Sen ilacı simya olanın devası ol
Bana da bir yol arkadaşlığı ile şefaat edilsin diye
