Even if all the world’s darkness gathered,
It could not extinguish the light of that candle.
Have you heard the prayer of truth’s creation?
He was one among many who lost their mothers,
Perhaps deserving mercy to the very end,
Enduring hardships with a faith that shelters prayer.
But time’s relentless passage,
Took his heart when he was only 16.
Efe stopped time’s cruel march,
Another forced into alignment,
One day, consciousness will embrace minds,
Learning not from the vile path,
But from liberation from the demeaning, wretched, and oppressive judgments.
Haven’t many scholars come and gone, envisioning this?
Embrace the moment stolen by Asaf, who took on responsibility.
Understand and approach the path of truth;
None who walked it ever stepped into depravity.
A poor orphan on a path of vice,
Isn’t the essence of truth inherently different?
You think there are lives ending without reason,
But if one lives without their pain,
What good is the insensitivity that turns you into a heartless creature?
What use will tears be after the damage is done?
If your tears express sensitivity, who will your benevolence benefit?
True friends are called friends of dark days,
Those who erase history’s “Gülle” laugh at such balances.
They even flaunt the name,
Mockingly displaying the erased account.
This is the fate when truth is neglected,
When those at the top fail,
A beam of light trickles down from the accursed,
Reflecting the balance upon the oppressed people.
What was the name given to “Gülle” in high school?
Did you learn what that heavy iron ball is called now?
Does it still stand where you left it,
Or has it been taken without your understanding?
In Samsun in 2013, my nephew mentioned “Gülle’s” new name.
I couldn’t believe it; I pressed the matter repeatedly.
Is the child named “Umut” now extending his hand to the elders’ account?
When there are no soldiers left among the righteous,
Peers will journey from paradise with a single mind.
The erased “Gülle” and the advice of a friend in dark days,
A poor orphan may sit on the devil’s throne, leaving no trace of his name.

In Antalya, 28-year-old Gülseda Karagüle was found dead at a friend’s house.
