MEVU November: Pre-IEO Update
A quick briefing on what's been happening with the team
The team has been hard at work on MEVU as always. No bear market can scare us off from building out what we’ve been so excited to release for months on end. That being said we would love to address some the questions we have received recently to as where we are at!
This summer we had launched our beta in parallel with the FIFA World Cup by allowing our users to collect some free MVU while testing out our infrastructure. The features we’re limited for users as the primary purpose was to test the back end. Since then we have improved upon the platform, and have worked to make the experience even better.
Within the month if not sooner we hope to launch the public version of our platform with smart contract functionality!
The update will give our users more options to bet on a variety of different sports. This will initially take place on the test net but once we have concluded audits the main net will be launched. So, in short, we are on track and look forward to hearing feedback from the community very soon!
This has been the most frequent question we have received as of late as there has been some confusion as to when the public sale will start. This confusion is likely due to third-party websites listing us as an upcoming IEO which we are grateful for but those websites do not represent us and the starting dates posted are not from us.
The date is set for early 2019 as stated on the website, but we are just as excited as you are to open MVU to the community. In the meantime, we are building out our marketing campaign, and raising funds privately and forming strategic partnerships. We have had conversations with many people and organizations about raising funds and look forward to announcing those who were the right fit when the time is right.
As, for now, you can find some of the wonderful people we have been working with on our website, and are getting closer to public sale by the day but can not put a date to it just yet as to not cause confusion.
Keep an eye out or follow us on any of the platforms below for more updates!
