Questions about the project

Iris: What is DeltaTheta? Can you share with us more in detail?

Maks: delta.theta is a p2p options DEX platform. Any farmer or trader can access the platform and trade.

Farmers can try themselves in LITE terminal, which is created for mass adopters in crypto space. LITE is “supereasy” to understand. It has different namings of available tools, which are familiar to average crypto users — for example instead of SELL PUT option it says an understandable “Buy Low” order and a farmer or average crypto fan understands the idea behind it.

PRO terminal is in fact a traditional options trading terminal from classic markets.

Though, both versions of our platform are interoperable and use the same orderbook. They are just different interfaces to access the same tools, created for different audiences. Below is the list of product features available on our platform right now:

- Any coin pairs in the corresponding blockchain — pick 2 coins in 1 network and request an options market in delta.theta;

- American style options — execute an option at any time if the strike price is hit, not only upon expiration;

- Limit and Market Orders;

- 2-level commissions — Taker and Maker fees;

- 100% covered options — Seller of an option locks 100% of its value while creating an order;

- Liquidity Incentivization Program for Option Sellers (Liquidity providers).

Iris: What triggers you to launch DeltaTheta? What are some of the real-world problems/ pain points that DeltaTheta aims to solve?

Maks: Even though options in crypto space are not presented at all (at least compared to the classic financial markets), delta.theta has still chosen the set of primary audiences to target and pain points for them to solve. The primary focus of delta.theta are crypto farmers and general crypto fans, who are not professional traders by nature. In fact, that is why we have developed a LITE version of our terminal, which looks like a marketplace of strategies, where farmers can protect current positions or buy cheaper/sell higher.

We solve the 2 major problems of farmers and crypto community in general:

1. Buying protection for the locked/staked/farmed assets to decrease the risk level and avoid the impermanent loss threats during the funds lockup period.

2. Efficient capital management. Today’s farmers in search of APY growth use quite a wide range of products, from simple farming to flash loans solutions. Options allow them to participate with less capital leverage. We started out with a simple one — by allowing farmers to sell options.

Iris: What are some of the challenges that DeltaTheta currently faces? How do you aim to solve them?

Maks: Immaturity of the industry, at least in terms of options trading is the painpoint #1 for us.

General crypto audience isn’t really aware of how to use the options. Hence, you can’t build a project noone understands. That is why we’re building 2 versions of the terminal — LITE and PRO, where LiTE is aimed to introduce the power of options to general crypto audience

Iris: Are there any exciting news or updates with regards to DeltaTheta that you would like to share with the users?

Maks: Of course, first and foremost, we’re getting listed really soon on MEXC and Gate — at 11 AM UTC. And we’re REALLY happy to be MEXC as one of the primary listings

This is a really big day for us. But apart of the listing of DLTA, we have huge product plans in mind. Recently, we were recognized by the mayor of MIami and got an invitation to become a resident of the city, which we gratefully accepted (Link)

Finally, we’re approaching mainnet for our platform really soon — you will be able to use our options platform in mainnet on 22nd of July.

Iris: If you were to summarize your project in ONE word, what would it be? Why?

Maks: Potential.

Potential is the word because options in crypto aren’t developed at all and accounts for less than 1% of the whole market. On the contrary, in classic markets, options on stocks volume is 3–5 times higher than spot trading

One of the reasons to launch delta.theta is to change the attitude to options in crypto space and take advantage of the huge potential these tools will offer to the industry

Free-asking Session

Q1: Do you have a roadmap or whitepaper? Can you share it with your community?

Maks: Sure, we announced our updated whitepaper a few weeks ago

Here is the direct link for all of you to check — Link

Q2: Many projects rug pulled and exit scam recently. Why should investors trust your project not to do the same?

Maks: Thanks Elon Musk for the question. If you’re the real Elon Musk I would like to ask the same question to you😂

Speaking seriously, we’re one of the hunderds of projects releasing the token and a totally developed platform at the same time (within a course of 1 week). We know how our platform would work, who would enjoy using it, and how it fits into the business/revenue model.

There is no need for us to pull the rugs, as we know that the potential behind options in crypto is huge and that our platform would be more efficient for us than some junky rugpulls. Also, karma is really a thing and we were let to this world to not spoil it

Q3: I have seen that you have done many AMAs, my question is, what do you expect to get from so many AMAs and what are your goals with the community? Do you consider the community to be a fundamental role in the project?
Maks: Yes, we do consider community to be one of the most crucial parts of the project success.

The nature of our product isn’t that easy to understand in 2 minutes, so our higher mission is to tell the wide crypto space about the better opportunities, which can be accessed with the options markets.

That’s why we’re trying to have as many AMAs as possible and talk to the biggest amount of people
