Cannabis Trade Show Schedule 2022

After a nearly two-year hiatus, cannabis trade shows, conferences, and expos are scheduled to return in 2022. The list below is not comprehensive because some organizers had not finalized plans by our deadline, and some events may be postponed depending on local health guidelines. Check with the sponsoring organizations for the most current information.

Cannabis Science Conference West

February 2–4, Long Beach, California

With a focus on analytical science, medical cannabis, cultivation, hemp/CBD, and psychedelics, Cannabis Science Conference West attracts cannabis industry experts, instrument manufacturers, testing labs, cultivators, research scientists, medical professionals, policymakers, and interested novices.


February 2–5, Las Vegas

Founded in 1999 and now one of the largest counterculture trade shows in the world, CHAMPS shows draw thousands of exhibitors and buyers from across the globe. Vendors offer glass pipes, vaporizers, cleaners, and extraction machines, among other stock. A Dispensary + section is tailored for the cannabis industry.

BizCann Expo

February 4–5, Brooklyn, New York
May 21–22, Medellín, Colombia
June 10–11, Springfield, Massachusetts

In addition to an exhibit space that tends to be heavy on ancillary-service providers, tailored educational panels address issues including legislation and regulation, branding and marketing, banking, investing, accounting, real estate, legacy markets, and retail.

Indo Expo

February 5–6, Denver
May 21–22, Oklahoma City
October 22–23, Chicago

Indo Expo’s events focus on building professional relationships in every vertical of the cannabis and hemp industries. The shows typically attract more than 400 exhibitors and more than 10,000 attendees. Limited complimentary admission for industry professionals.


February 5–6, Miami

Formerly known as FLMJ, Cannadelic integrates cannabis and psychedelics for an audience of both professionals and consumers. The expo hall is expected to contain 150 exhibitors, and educational sessions will feature more than forty speakers.

CannaTech Expo

February 23–24, Tulsa, Oklahoma
April 20–21, Mount Pleasant, Michigan
June 14–15, Atlantic City, New Jersey
August 3–4, Schaumburg, Illinois

CannaTech Expos focus on emerging cultivation markets and typically feature about 40,000 square feet of equipment and service-provider exhibits. Dozens of seminars cover topics including licensing, production, cultivation techniques, banking, and human resources.

Lucky Leaf Expo

February 25–26, Albuquerque, New Mexico
March 25–26, Detroit
July 29–30, Richmond, Virginia
September 22–23, Oklahoma City

Created principally as a business-to-business (B2B) platform for growers, processors, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, accountants, attorneys, marketers, and journalists, Lucky Leaf conferences are open to businesses and consumers. Typically, they feature more than 100 exhibitors and about fifty speakers.

The Emerald Conference

February 27–March 1, San Diego, California

Focused on cannabis science and data, The Emerald Conference is an international, interdisciplinary event that typically attracts about 800 attendees, twenty speakers, fifty exhibitors, and twenty-five technical presentations. The event will celebrate its seventh anniversary in 2022.

International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC)

March 10, Barcelona, Spain
July 18–20, Berlin
September 8–9, Zurich

ICBC events, which attract executives, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from more than 80 nations, are designed to connect businesses seeking capital with seasoned investors. The Berlin and Zurich events incorporate the Global Investment Forum series.


March 11–13, Barcelona, Spain

One of Europe’s most popular cannabis events since 2002, consumer-focused Spannabis attracts about 35,000 attendees each March; the business-oriented World Cannabis Conference is co-located for the first two days. Seeds are a specialty among the approximately 280 international exhibitors.

Alternative Products Expo

March 11–13, Fort Lauderdale, Florida
November 3–5, Chicago

Formerly known as the USA CBD Expo, the consumer-oriented Alternative Products Expo aspires to help undiscovered products become superstars. The shows expect more than 300 vendors exhibiting 500 brands; the educational component boasts more than fifty speakers.

NoCo Hemp Expo

March 23–25, Denver

Now in its eighth year, NoCo Hemp Expo brings together industry leaders spanning the hemp supply chain, from farmers and producers to retail and wholesale buyers, processors, equipment manufacturers, and technology and innovation companies.

New Jersey Cannabis Expo / CannaVest USA Expo

April 13–15, Edison, New Jersey

This expo offers eight educational tracks: trends, emerging investments, cultivation investment opportunities, financial management, business operations, licensure, regulations, and product development. Co-located CannaVest will address stocks, mergers, acquisitions, and scaling startups.

Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference

April 20–21, Miami
September 21–22, Southern California

Offering industry updates, market-trend analysis, networking opportunities, and a first look at new technologies and innovations, Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conferences are designed to connect innovative entrepreneurs and vetted investors with the capital they seek.

ISPA Conference

May 2–4, Las Vegas

Hosted by the International Spa Association, the annual ISPA Conference brings professionals from all spa industry sectors together in one location. The 2019 event featured more than 260 exhibitors offering spa products and services.

CannMed 2022

May 3–5, Pasadena, California

CannMed showcases cannabis science, medicine, cultivation, and safety. Since 2016, the annual event has prioritized innovation and collaboration with the goal of advancing the industry and improving patient care.

MJ Unpacked

May 4–6, New York City

MJ Unpacked seeks to connect the consumer packaged good element of the cannabis industry. Attendance is restricted to retail and brand executives with the title manager or higher, as well as accredited investors.

Southeastern Hemp & Medical Cannabis Convention

May 12–14, Atlanta, Georgia

This event attracts retail-business owners, scientific professionals, and suppliers/distributors, along with a few farmers and consumers. In addition to exhibits, breakout sessions will address medical use and practices, business opportunities, scientific advancements, and local, state, and national legislation.

O’Cannabiz International Conference and Expo

June 1–3, Toronto

O’Cannabiz connects thousands of experts and brands across the international cultivation sector to source, shop, network, and grow their businesses. The event has been described as a “buffet” of technologies, products, and services.


June 2–4, New York City

Business-focused and international in scope, Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition (CWCBExpo) provides a forum for dispensary owners, growers, suppliers, investors, medical professionals, government regulators, attorneys, and entrepreneurs to seek new areas of growth.

Cannabis Law, Accounting, and Business Conference & Expo

June 3–4, Miami

This year’s theme is United We Grow, reflecting the ways gender and race issues shape the industry. A hybrid business and consumer event, CLAB’s interactive exhibit hall and parts of the extensive educational program are open to the public.

CannaOne BizCon + Expo

June 15–17, Las Vegas

In addition to an exhibit floor, this hybrid B2B/B2C event will offer symposiums and workshops. New for 2022: the CannaOne Industry Awards and a Food + Beverage Cannavation Center offering items infused with CBD, THC, or both.

Grow Up Cannabis Conference, Awards, and Expo

June 20–22, Victoria, British Columbia

Targeting cultivators and extractors, Grow Up offers more than seventy in-depth workshops, seminars, and panels. The event expects 2,500 attendees, 160 speakers, and enough exhibits to fill a 50,000-square-foot expo hall.

Southern Hemp Expo (SHE)

August 18–20, Nashville, Tennessee

Even though SHE’s program runs the gamut of hemp applications, including everything from building materials to foods, pet products, and health and wellness supplements, cultivation is a primary focus. The show expects more than 175 exhibitors.

Cannabis Conference

August 23–25, Las Vegas

Dedicated exclusively to cultivation, dispensary, and extraction professionals in the cannabis and hemp spaces, Cannabis Conference’s 85,000-square-foot exhibit hall features emerging technologies, services, and solutions. Educational sessions address both novices and industry veterans.

Virginia Cannabis Expo / CannaGrow Harvest Cultivation + Operations Expo

August 25–27, Virginia Beach, Virginia

The first show of its kind in one of the newest markets, this event plans to give attendees access to new technologies, product innovations, and channels for distribution, packaging, and manufacturing. Educational components will focus on cultivation issues.

International Conference on Medical Cannabis

October 6–7, New York City

Hosted by The International Research Conference, this educational event addresses students, academics, and scientists. The interdisciplinary platform provides researchers, practitioners, and educators an opportunity to share innovations, trends, concerns, and solutions in the medical cannabis field.


November 15–18, Las Vegas

With more than 250,000 square feet of exhibits, pre-show forums, and 140 speakers, MJBizCon is the largest trade event of its kind in the world. More than 30,000 cannabis executives are expected to attend in 2022.

CannaCosmo Health + Beauty Expo / Women GROW Strong Expo

November 18–20, Las Vegas

Calling itself “the premier launching pad for all things cannabis within the health and beauty industry,” CannaCosmo aspires to introduce new technologies, product innovations, and new channels for distribution, packaging, and manufacturing.
