For the past 5+ years MHacks and PennApps have grown to become some of the most well known student hackathons in the world. Bringing in thousands of hackers each year from all across the globe, the two hackathons have both made significant progress in promoting innovation and creativity; however, a brutal rivalry has formed between MHacks and PennApps, and the time for bitterness is over. It is time to band together and merge our forces for the ultimate hackathon. MHapps.
In order to promote unity between our two groups, MHapps will be held at the halfway point between our two campuses at Camp Guyasuta Boy Scouts of America Day Camp, located in Sharpsburg, PA. The nearest airport is Pittsburgh-Monroeville Airport approximately 8 miles away, and we will provide segways to and from for ease of travel.
Our first joint event will take place from September 7th through 9th. Applications will be out shortly.
