Hey again Hackers! Hopefully you remember me and Kevin from MHacks 9. Arwin, our third musketeer, graduated in April (🎉🎉🎉) which means we’re excited to introduce to you Yazad, who will be replacing Arwin as the Director of UX! Yazad entered the hackathon scene two years ago with MHacks 6 and has been with the Core Team since then as a member and eventual leader of the Design team.
All three of us hope you’re looking forward to what we have in store for you, so without further ado let’s dive into one of the big picture changes you can look forward to!
The Hacker Community
For MHacks 9, we increased our focus on local hackers and we’re ready to bring that kind of attention to our entire Hacker Community! This means you can expect to hear more from us through initiatives such as a Developer Blog series written by our Tech team that you’ll be able to find right here on Medium. You can expect more chances to talk to us during Hacker Office Hours (more details on this soon!) and interactive Social Media activities. You can even expect a new opportunity to connect with your fellow hackers when we launch– Wait, what? I can’t tell them about that yet? Wednesday, June 7th at 2pm EST? Fiiiiine… Sorry for the interruption, Kevin says that I can’t tell you about that until later 😞 Anyways, long story short we’re excited to get to know you better so we can help you turn your ideas into reality more effectively than ever before!
