The Power of Presence: Crafting a Compelling Journey
As we approach the last week of our remarkable 8-month project, with just under 2 weeks left for our final presentation, it’s time to reflect on the strides we’ve made during this sprint.
During the previous sprint, we delved into the realm of prototyping and user testing, uncovering the true value we sought to achieve with our solution: the profound feeling of presence with our loved ones.
Weaving Connection: The Art of Storytelling
To effectively communicate our ideas, we decided to focus on our users’ experience. We embarked on an engaging journey of crafting a compelling story that brings our solution to life, akin to creating our own movie!
Crafting the perfect story wasn’t easy, as we spent almost two weeks refining it. We carefully considered various factors, ensuring the context was set appropriately, users could empathize with our characters’ struggles and needs, and that our idea was effectively conveyed. The flow had to make sense, leaving viewers with a lasting emotional impact.
Now, we find ourselves in the exciting process of filming our very own concept video, with our team members taking center stage! Through these videos, we aim to showcase the technology and its ability to foster genuine connections.
Empowering Natural Interaction, Embracing User Autonomy
Beyond storytelling, we also dedicated ourselves to refining the specific interactions of our feature. How users engage with our technology and the freedom it provides them were essential considerations. Drawing from our research on natural interactions and user autonomy, we ensured our design catered to these important aspects.
