Zendaya Coleman has become the fashion guru of young Hollywood. The vibrant 20-year-old actress and singer who graces the TV screen as Disney’s sweetheart girl next door has taken the fashion industry by storm. Zendaya’s edgy, eccentric, style transpired into her fashion line Daya by Zendaya. Last Sunday Zendaya traveled to New York, Chicago and Los Angeles all in one day. She held three different pop up shops to debut her new clothing line to her fans.
The fashion world is definitely ready for a young mogul, especially one that is of African descent. Zendaya’s presence in the fashion industry puts into the mind of the quirky, awkward, non conformist, young girl, that although some may not appreciate the uniqueness of your beauty it does exist.
Daya by Zendaya combines elements of the chic, grunge, chick, with a touch of elegance and grace. The line’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection consist of silk and distressed cropped tanks and sweatshirts that are priced to consumers at as low as $18 and as high as $78. Some even embellished with metallic and spiked gems to add that dramatic hipster effect.
Also incorporated within the line are slim-fit dresses and flared out skirts that hug the body and accentuates a woman’s curvaceous figure. The all-black, satin, slim-fit, slip dress that flares at the bottom is a prominent example of the line’s mixture of boldness and sophistication. The pieces within the line range from a size X-Small to X-X-Large so it is undeniable that the line caters to the curvy woman.
The collection’s assortment of jackets and outerwear includes the trendiness of the bomber and military style. As well as the the elegance of the tuxedo blazer.
On her fashion line’s e-commerce website Zendaya hosts her “picks”. This includes her favorite pieces from the collection. Her favorite oversized velvet jogger that she debuted before she debuted the full line. Funky, army colored, jogger pants that are conducive to contemporary youthful style.
