Wayfarer is a guide for users to plan their trip showing tourism info around the world. Here users can find recommendations from other travelers who share their adventures. The target user is 21–30 years old who often travels and is up for an adventure.
Competitive Analysis
I conducted competitor research and found that there were a lot of sites that showed tourism information only for a country or city but not worldwide. I also looked into non-direct competitors like flight booking sites and blogs to learn how I could fulfill the users’ needs.
Colors
The primary color palette is blue because it invokes feelings of trust, responsibility, and calmness.
The second color palette is more vibrant and invokes warm and inviting feelings. I used it for buttons and the call-to-action to guide the user to important areas on the web page.
Typography
Lexend has a variety of weights allowing me to be bold with the heading while still being legible for the body text.
