This past Saturday, we held yet another Films Screenings Workshops & Discussions. Young and Veteran Film Makers from Bulawayo gathered at Empire Gallery in Khumalo to Share knowledge on Composition and it History. We discussed techniques like Depth, Symmetry, motion, perspective, line, lightness & darkness, etc. The community was small but the knowledge and experience shared was vast. The attendance included Media and languages students, a Music Video Director, a Cinematographer/Cameraman, A Writer, A film Maker/Composer to mention titles.

We watched ‘The Warriors Way’. A Film by Sngmoo Lee. I selected this film with regard to the basics of composition he used in his shots.

The next Films Screenings will be on the 8th of November 2014 were we will discuss Script Writing techniques and look at the different methods some successful film makers use.
