It’s God’s view, but God would never be so precarious. Maria sways, buffeted by winds that sweep across the observation deck high above the city. She’s precarious, but she feels powerful.

She watches tiny cars and tiny people, honking, weaving below. Miniature beings doing minute things. Small, like her. She exists without a ripple, unnoticed, unknowing, always a warm milk woman.

She hoists herself to sit atop the railing, feet dangling above the abyss. The breeze kisses her cheek. She leans to greet it, enveloped by whispers. Join me, it sighs. She pushes away.

Today Maria will make an impact

Trying to establish a writing practice 100 words at a time.

Usually I caption the above divider bar with credit to Zane Dickens, Because he made it and shared it, which is pretty awesome. Today, he gets a bigger blurb for inspiring us with the 100 Stories. Seriously, check out all the writers inspired here.

He also found the great photo that inspired this story. Zane Dickens, I’m excited to see your story. Just found out Smillew Rahcuef is in with this photo too!

I always try and share talented writers, but today let’s check out a photographer too, Tim Trad.

I am a dabbler and a story teller. Worked as a journalist for local small time paper but have a love of fiction with a to be read list to prove it.
