Locating her had proven difficult. A name, in and of itself, was nowhere near enough. She had led him chasing shadows since he first heard of her and her little army. Taking down one person was tricky enough, though he would need an arsenal of legislation to take down a makeshift society.

Every society had its secrets, and he had a few of his own. Gavin reached into his wallet and pulled out a business card advertising a group called The Divine Union. He had heard the name before, and it did not take long to track where their money was coming from; affiliation with Nightpoint City Mission, a group of churches dedicated to helping homeless people all over the country.

None of them paid taxes, making it more difficult to sweep for information using the official channels. Nothing, however, prevented anyone from using private networks. Previously, using so many names made this dangerous individual a walking phone book. However, there were names registered to her person popping up at each location of the Nightpoint City Mission. He was sure she was the head of The Divine Union, official or not.

“Someone will finally rid me of this troublesome woman!”
