Pete, the charismatic door-to-door salesman, strolled up the grand driveway leading to Bradshaw’s luxurious mansion. He adjusted his suit, ready to impress the wealthy businessman with the remarkable humanoids he had to offer.

“Good day, Mr Bradshaw,” Pete greeted with a warm smile. “I am Pete, from Applied Robotics. I have something extraordinary to show you today.”

Bradshaw invited Pete into his lavish living room. “I’ve heard about the humanoids your company makes. Everyone says they look just like humans. Show me what they can do.”

Pete opened his briefcase, revealing a collection of glossy color photographs showcasing the incredible capabilities of the humanoids — answering calls, cooking sumptuous meals, expertly maneuvering through crowded streets, tending to lush gardens — each picture demonstrated their unparalleled abilities.

Just as Pete delved into the finer details, Bradshaw’s phone buzzed urgently, signaling an impending work crisis.

“Sorry, Pete,” Bradshaw interrupted, standing up abruptly. “I need to take this call. Can you come back another day to finish your presentation?”

Pete smiled understandingly, gathering his brochures. “Of course, Mr. Bradshaw. I’ll be back soon to demonstrate the full potential of our humanoids.”

Before leaving, Bradshaw couldn’t help but express his desire for something more tangible. “When you visit next time, could you bring a real humanoid with you? I want to witness their abilities firsthand.”

Pete turned, his gaze steady and voice resolute. “Oh, you had just witnessed one, sir.”
