Swiftly through the night

The moon was bright, and the air was crisp. But soon it would be morning. There was no time to spare.

The fox padded her way into the chicken pen. She seized a sleeping hen with perfect finesse. Then, she crept back out under the fence. And ran as fast as she could.

Her cubs were waiting.
