The aim this month is to celebrate the important moments in our lives. Despite the challenges or because of them we need to celebrate.
There’s much to celebrate this time of year
Festivus, Solstice, Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa.
Whatever you celebrate, savour it, revel in it. Annoying uncles and all.
We could always be invaded by aliens or shattered into celestial dust by an asteroid the size of Texas.
For me, I love this time of year, in the southern hemisphere “the holidays” coincide with our longest school break holidays. The typical summer vacation in the North.
There are so many festivals around the summer solstice, for my wife and I who married on the longest day of the year, it’s our anniversary too.
