In a context of rapid growth and change we are looking for a Head of Accounting (m/f).

General Goal

The Group Head of Accounting is a finance professional (qualified accountant) who will work closely with the rest of the Microcred Paris headquarter team and the country CFO’s and accountants to build outstanding working relationships. The Group Head of Accounting will ensure accurate and timely consolidated and social statements.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Group Head of Accounting include :

● To ensure all accounting tasks are done accurately and on time for the Holding Company in Paris and shared services

● To work closely with the country CFO and local accounting teams to ensure Group accounting policies are adhered to

● To ensure that the country monthly financial reporting is done accurately and on time

● To deliver monthly, quarterly and annual accounts (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement) for the Group consolidation in IFRS

● To deliver the Group annual audit

● To supervise and manage accounting staff internally and the accounting outsourced firm

● To deliver Group Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements for the Budget, quarterly forecasts and the Long Range Plan

● To improve the closing process

● To ensure technical accounting intelligence

As a result, the Group Head of Accounting can be expected to be involved in:

● reviewing Group monthly actual accounts and financial reporting

● reviewing actual results versus budgets and forecasts

● driving financial accounting discipline into the country accounting teams

● working closely with the Paris headquarter team to ensure all costs are accounted for

● supporting in assessing skills and resource in the country teams

● working closely with the rest of the Finance Team

● working with external auditors to ensure that the Group audit is done properly and on time

● contributing in financial projects

Competences

· Excellent technical skills in accounting

· Management skills

· Excellent command of French and English, oral and written

Profile

· Business School or University with a specialisation in Finance / Accounting DSCG or DESCF

· Experience in managing successfully an accounting team

· Organized, methodical, and strong analytical mind

· Team player and problem solver
