Ireland-based startup ApisProtect has created an Internet-of-Things device for beekeepers to monitor the health of beehives. The coronavirus epidemic hit during one of the busiest periods for beekeepers, and in this interview Dr Fiona Edwards Murphy, CEO of ApisProtect, talks about the challenges of delivering devices and staff to crops needing pollination in the face of an international lockdown, and leading a startup during the pandemic.
