My highlights

New Format Pane

The New Format Pane is now generally available. It means now it is default choice for all users. Microsoft was improving it during last few months starting November 2021 when New Format Pane was released in preview.

I am describing all main changes in this article: Power BI Feature News — New Format Pane

Here is a short list:

• Design improvements of pane that optimize using its vertical space
• White background of formatting cards make them more visible/separated
• Improvements of search functionality — highlighting search results
• Split of formatting cards into General and Visual specific group
• Sub-categories for formatting cards
• Global revert to default possibility

Table navigation improvements

We saw a lot of graphical visuals improvements during last months and now Microsoft put focus also on basic but highly used table visuals and improve their performance, usability, and accessibility.
