Hello world!

Today we are going to have a look at how to use SVG to create inline charts inside of a table. This can be useful in a lot of situations where you need to combine the clarity of a chart with the detail of a table.

Introduction

Power BI is a business analytics service provided by Microsoft that allows users to analyze data and share insights in real time. It provides interactive visualizations and business intelligence capabilities with an interface simple enough for end users to create their reports and dashboards. Power BI supports a variety of data sources and file formats, including images, videos, and SVGs.

Scalable Vector Graphics (SVGs) is a type of file format used for vector images. Unlike raster graphics, such as JPEGs or PNGs, which are composed of individual pixels, SVGs are created using mathematical equations that define lines, curves, and shapes. This allows SVGs to be infinitely scaled without losing image quality, making them ideal for data visualization.

Using SVGs in Power BI can enhance the visual appeal and functionality of reports and dashboards. They can be used to create custom icons, logos, and illustrations.
