Coo-Coo Cachoo for Cloud
My head’s stuck in the clouds. Understandably, since I’m the marketing lead for the MicroStrategy Cloud. If you’re in tech these days, yours likely is too.
Like many in the industry, I’m amazed by how quickly cloud adoption surged throughout 2020. No longer an aspirational but vague milestone on a 5-year plan, the rapid and successful implementation of enterprise cloud strategies became essential to the success of businesses worldwide as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. From 2021 onward, the cloud will remain essential.
Beyond the myriad benefits offered by the cloud, its added emphasis comes with a silver lining: trend analysts are making the cloud puns rain. Working on a recent project, I jotted down these 3 punny titles that had me on cloud 9.
1. In times like these you learn to love the cloud by Deloitte
2. Cloudy with a chance of billions by McKinsey
3. Sky high hopes: Navigating the barriers to maximizing cloud value by Accenture
Admit it — you started humming Times Like These by the Foo Fighters when you read that top one too, didn’t you? Bonus points if you caught the dual reference to both I Am the Walrus by The Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel’s Mrs. Robinson in the title of this post.
Puns aside, these 3 studies and many, many more all agree: cloud delivers the business model of the future.
