MicroStrategy 2021 May Update
At the beginning of the year, the team at MicroStrategy set a goal to continue to push the boundaries of our velocity, challenging ourselves to deliver new enhancements, optimizations, and fixes each and every month to our customers. In our latest installment, shipped at the end of May, we are keeping true to this mission. The release includes updates for our Hyper.Now SaaS product, Hyper Web for Chrome & Edge, Hyper Mobile for Android & iOS, Library Mobile for iOS, MicroStrategy App for macOS & Windows, mstrio-py package and Workstation for macOS & Windows. Read on for a walkthrough of some of my favorite Features.
Hyper
Customers can now generate a white-labeled version of Hyper Web via Workstation. Users can customize the name, icon, descriptions, and even pre-configure the default environment. It is available to all of our Hyper.Now customers today — so if you haven’t already, visit microstrategy.com to start your free trial. Coming to all On-Premise and MicroStrategy Cloud customers next month in 11.3.2.
Workstation
Users can now create / edit object prompts and derived elements with a modern and enhanced look and feel through Workstation. Available to all customers.
Users can enable data source creation workflows for DSN-less data sources for top driver-based gateways, and allow users to specify the parameters of a given connection string. Available to all customers.
MicroStrategy App
This release is focused on fixing security and stability issues; we have also updated the Electron framework to the latest version, to gain speed and performance. Available to all customers.
MicroStrategy for Jupyter Notebook and GitHub
New release of mstrio-py package with Python module for cubes and cube caches. Available to all customers.
