This May, we continue our mission to provide the most secure and stable platform for our customers, releasing a second security update on top of the March release. That’s right, you now have another layer of added security — extra secure. With MicroStrategy 2021 Update 5.2 (11.3.5.2), we offer the latest in security and provide a platform ready for new features set to roll out later this month.

This release focused on a comprehensive fix to a group of security vulnerabilities found within Java. Please refer to this article from our team of security experts that provides detailed information on specific vulnerabilities addressed and recommended actions.

We have successfully upgraded the Java version to 11.0.15+10 across our products, providing official remediation. We strongly recommend that all customers upgrade to the latest version of the platform. You can download this release from the MicroStrategy Resource Center, or access MicroStrategy on AWS or Azure via the MicroStrategy Cloud Console.

With the upcoming May release fast approaching, here’s an exclusive look at What’s New:

  • Extended workflows for our administrators in Workstation.
  • All-new Python modules that expand the world of scripting.
  • Enhancements to OOTB Drivers.

As always, we thank you for the continued partnership with MicroStrategy. Stay tuned for new features and updates as we continue to drive our mission of Intelligence Everywhere.
