I’m “Feelin’ the BERN”- are you?

Across the country, voters are “feelin’ in the Bern” — the pro-choice, pro-immigration, environmentalist, progressive Bern.

Proof of Bernie Sanders’ appeal is in the numbers: in Los Angeles last Monday night, 17,500 people filed into the Sports Arena for a Bernie rally. In Portland last Sunday, 28,000 people showed up to hear him speak. 15,000 were in attendance in Seattle, 11,000 in Phoenix, 10,000 in Madison, 8,000 in Dallas, and 4,500 in New Orleans.

His crowds are unmatched by any presidential hopeful; he appeals to the far left, the left-of-center, and the less-left-of-center.

I support Bernie because of his stance on equal rights, abortion (per his op-ed in the Huffington Post), and also because of his pledge to make public college tuition-free. His fight to increase the federal minimum wage and his promise to decrease income inequality only add to the support.

He spoke out against the Iraq War and has supported equal rights for decades. He appeals to the masses, and his campaign isn’t laced with email scandals or mentions of Benghazi…

Bernie Sanders isn’t perfect (he’s got a lot of work to do with #BlackLivesMatter, for example), but he could be just the candidate to upset Hillary Clinton- again.
