Jeb Bush: “get the lawyers off the damn backs of the military once and for all.”

I think we’re all starved for the same thing: A president we can trust, look up to, and be proud of again; one who represents the values of America and puts our welfare and safety ahead of his own legacy.

Last night, Jeb Bush showed America why he’s that person. He’s earned the endorsement of 30 former admirals and generals and 12 Medal of Honor recipients, because he’s the most qualified candidate to lead as our next Commander-in-Chief.

Jeb gave our active-duty military and veterans a glimpse of the deep respect he has for them and the support they can count on from him and his administration when he’s in the Oval Office.

Unlike what we’ve seen for the past seven years, Jeb doesn’t wait for a crisis to happen and then react. He’s prepared with detailed plans, policies, and the right personnel to help him execute the duties of POTUS.

His tactics and resolve to defeat ISIS were public long before the Paris attacks, as was his plan to modernize the VA, rebuild our military, defend the homeland, reform the pentagon, stop the cuts to our military, and more.

When highly disciplined military officers coalesce around a candidate, it’s because they recognize a leader when they see one. And Jeb is the leader we need in these dangerous times.

He’s a conservative reformer, a uniter who will strengthen our military, destroy ISIS, honor our commitments to our veterans, and govern with conviction and honor.

Jeb can be trusted to hold the lives of our active duty military men and women in the palm of his hands. And I think he stood out from the pack in last night’s GOP debate.
