“Follow your heart but take your brain with you.”
Alfred Adler

As I reach the threshold of 40, I am at a crossroads, driven by an intrinsic urge for transformation. I have deliberately decided to live a more purposeful and satisfying life.

This desire to change is the driving force behind my decision to redesign my lifestyle.

This story is a personal narrative, drawing inspiration from Alfred Adler’s “Individual Psychology”. It documents my process of self-discovery and the significant influence of Adler’s theories on my growing identity.

Every decision I’ve made, from childhood to maturity, has shaped me. I didn’t realize that these seemingly personal decisions were Adlerian. I discovered I could shape my own fate as I investigated conscious decision-making.

Join me as I examine Adlerian theory’s transformative power, how it has affected my life choices, and its broader implications for identity, parenthood, and the search for a simpler, more satisfying existence.
