Debbie Asked Us Middle Pausers, ‘What Does June Have in Store for You?’

“Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country!”
Echoing John F. Kennedy’s quote, I came up with — ask what you can do for June — but that left out the word “your.” So I rewrote it as: “Ask what you can do for your June.
And then, I turned the question to myself: What will I do for my June?
First and foremost, I’m going to follow Debbie’s advice and write. I’m going to write an article a day between now and June 14.
Each article will be my contribution to making June the month we middle-pausers decide that we are looking forward to retirement with social security payments, and that we’ll do what we can to ensure that our benefits are not taken away from us.
