From Fitness Guru to Fries Lover: My Journey Back to Health

There was a time when I embodied the epitome of fitness — a beacon of health and vitality. I reveled in my role as a fitness guru, embracing each day with boundless energy and enthusiasm. I managed a Fitness & Wellness Center, taught college Health and Physical Education courses, and instructed various fitness classes. My diet was meticulously curated, filled with wholesome foods and nutritious choices that fueled my active lifestyle.
But somewhere between husband number two and baby number three, amidst the chaos of life’s twists and turns, I was veering off course. The once vibrant, energetic version of myself became overshadowed by the weight of excess pounds and a sense of dissatisfaction.
The extra weight is a problem.
While I don’t love the number on the display, it’s not the number; it’s the feeling. The extra weight is robbing me of the extra pep in my step, the sexy confidence, and, notably, an entire closet of clothes that are now too small!
