Would that I could kick my feet half as high as Daphne can-can, or did when she did the can-can at the Moulin Rouge.
What a story!
But then, I did my own fair share of kicking and far more back in the day at Club Elegante, as you’ll find out when you read my surrender story.
My behavior was the opposite of the husbands Sarah describes in her story. Amazing to me what we women put up with! But then again, it makes sense as a strategy in her culture. Cooperation being more effective than undermining.
We need more of that over here!
Before we all lose our marbles, let’s make sure we treat our friends and our books well. That way we’ll feel deserving when we splurge on a chocolate treat.
