Seeing the Forest Through the Trees of Life from a Mother’s Eyes
You are enough!
silent winds carry whispers of mom’s voice
sunlight heard above rooted forest trees
my darling, you are enough is a choice
falling leaves rustle within the heart breeze
branch to branch connect loving forehead kisses
steeping roots of life’s blood within veined leaves
standing tall within barked skin riches
walking pebbled roads of lies she believes
mouths of babes sing amazing grace of truth
fallen trees nurtured nature silence heard
rooted in foundations of innocent youth
her ancestral matriarchy transferred
forest beyond trees, constant shining star
remind me you are enough as you are

Listening to the siren song of more; we are deaf to the still small voice waiting in our soul to whisper, “You’re enough.” — Julia Cameron
