What a Selfie Fail and Aging Have in Common

Have you ever tried to take a selfie with your dog? I’m not talking about a toy-sized dog, but an 80lb+ dog with an attitude.

One decent photo of me and Cooper.

That’s all I wanted.

I will let the photos speak for themselves —

I don’t know if Cooper’s camera shy or loves to wrestle.

As you can imagine, these are not the photos I had in mind.

Another example came up while designing a gallery of dramatic black-and-white family portraits for our stairway wall. I wanted the one of me, and hubby Sandy, to reek of passion. In my head, the pose was perfect: shirtless Sandy in our high-back velvet chair, me on his lap, silk robe draped over my shoulders, as we gaze dreamily into the camera.
