This morning, I had a shower thought: rename my profile to ‘Anne, the Feminine.’ Is this me re-defining myself, or just a whimzical thought?

What does the name ‘Ann’ evoke? It’s a great, classic name that gives off vibes of familiarity and humble grace. It’s brevity and single-syllable directness gives off an energy that could be Plain? Girl-next-door?Unpretentious? Modest? Unembellished?

Does the name ‘Anne’ sound more feminine than ‘Ann’? It does, doesn’t it? A tiny bit more delicate and elegant. Creative, graceful, spirited and insightful woman with an air of cultured sophistication? Dynamic, expressive, and free-spirited — yet still refined?

Does the embellishment of the extra “e” adds a layer of beauty and intrigue to the otherwise simple name? It hints at a thoughtfulness, idealism and depth beneath the feminine exterior.

Now really, is any of this worth me writing about or you reading about? Does this add value to the reader in any way?
