Shedding light on secret hidden feelings
She stares out the window, longing for peace of mind from the whys and what-ifs that constantly fill her thoughts. The hot, dripping wax from the candle she burns at both ends slowly falls like teardrops searing her aging hand.
Priding herself as a strong, independent woman, she continues to fight the inner battle with the reflection of the woman in the window. Is she fighting with herself or is she fleeing the depth of her answers? Does she stand in stillness, pretending it’s mindfulness she’s practicing, while all she wants to do is run away from the fears that still linger?

Mirrors show us only one dimension of ourselves, while windows allow us to look outside while we see our reflection staring back at us, looking within.
