The TLDR version of this post is: I’ve created this space to share my thoughts on food. I know there are a lot of such spaces. This is mine. It represents a blend of food perspectives I carry with me and I’m calling it “Middle Well.”

Hello.

As someone who loves to use healthy, local ingredients but also has the inconveniently human burden of a lack of time and energy, I often find myself flailing around with a spatula somewhere in the middle ground between organic, healthy, homemade everything, and Hamburger Helper.

That middle ground is where this space lives.

I’m on a quest to discover (and share) ways to make striving for wholesome and homemade a little easier. I hope to use this space to share simple tips that’ll help us embrace wellness while also being realistic.

I was going to call this space “Medium Well,” but according to Medium, my publication title can’t contain the word “medium.” 😏 Instead of going a totally different direction, though, I went with middle, which might be even better, because, actually, this space is about finding middle ground, not doing things halfway.
