Introducing a simpler and cleaner way to create your middletrust transactions
Forms help you give information to webmasters and organizations in a structured way, but over the years this simple task has grown increasingly tedious for users, it is not uncommon for users to head for the exit door when they see a complex form.
Forms are an important part of middletrust because all information needed to secure your transactions will have to be provided to us somehow, and the most favored method of collecting information on websites and apps is through a form.
The Problem
For a while, we were bombarded with calls and messages about the usability of our old forms and how difficult it was to understand some terms (given the fact that digital escrow is a relatively new concept in Nigeria), at times we had to help a user fill the form every step of the way.
What we did
We surveyed to find out what our most active users do not like about our forms, with the response we got we started working on an interactive design that would allow easily understand what is expected of them in a flash.
- We proceeded to break the transaction form into multiple steps to give users a breathing space while they are filling the form.
- We rephrased and simplified the questions so that users can understand what they have to provide at first glance.
- We improved the interface design while also maintaining simplicity.
