Today is the first day of Midform the writing challenge. I want to thank Dawn Smiles for initiating this challenge.

The first-day prompt is, What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?

Life is a journey of ups and downs. It is filled with achievements, struggles, pain, happiness, and sadness.

If I made a list of the things I am grateful for then there is a very long list. On the other side, the one thing that I found as one of the blessings is “Good night's sleep”.

Life has so many problems. We have a day and night. After living a whole day, we have a night. What if we don’t have the nights and have to constantly work?

I love to sleep. It gives me a chance to refresh myself. It prepares for the next day’s challenges. Sleep is one of the important necessities of our body. When you sleep well, it helps you to stay focused and improves your memory. When you close your eyes and sleep, you keep all the tensions and worries aside.

Be grateful for better sleep.

Here are some of the benefits of good sleep.

  • It helps you to stay healthy
  • Helps in reducing stress level
  • Maintain a good mental health
  • It helps you to learn and focus
  • It makes you more productive

Being grateful is a choice. Gratitude improves the quality of your life.

Give yourself a gift of five minutes of contemplation in awe of everything you see around you. Go outside and turn your attention to the many miracles around you. This five-minute-a-day regimen of appreciation and gratitude will help you to focus your life in awe.

Key Message: Being grateful makes your life easy to live. It helps you to focus on the good things about life which helps you to remain positive in the tough times. Express your gratitude for everything that makes your life easy.
