The First Time I Remember Being Empathic as a Child
Everyone was crying around me
I vividly remember being about 6 years old at the movie theatre.
It’s the only time in my entire life that I can recall people weeping during a movie. Not just silent tears streaming, but deep body-wracking sobs of sadness.
